Reflection
I chose this topic because I wanted to learn about women who made a big impact on U.S. history. It was interesting to learn how each of them fought for justice, equality, or freedom in very different ways. It's inspring to see how they grew up, conflict and hardship they had, and what did they do for the society.
I improved my research skills by reading websites and gathering accurate, reliable information. I also practiced my writing skills by writing pragraphs, paraphrasing and organizing ideas.
I want my audience to know that these women were pioneers who stood up for what was right in hard times. We need to respect and remember them that they created opportunities for people now to have such confortable environment.
At first, I don't even know their names, what they had experience and made. After finished the project and researching, I learned all their life stories and acheivement, appreciating their bravery and persistence.
I made my project creative by including interesting facts or stories that are not always mentioned in places, which made the project more engaging. I also made a pretty poster that make reader to see it more aesthetically.
The most important thing I learned is that one person’s actions can make a huge difference. Their courage, determination, and compassion are rare and great qualities that can change society and I should learn.
Their work connects to today’s issues that we are still fighting for equality and human rights. These women’s action remind us that progress often comes from taking action, collaboration and speaking.
